As expected, the Grammy's did not disappoint as celebrities wowed the red carpet and did an even more amazing job on stage. A special shoutout to artists like Kendrick Lamar, Pitbull, John Legend, Lady Gaga, etc. who are initiating discussions about important issues and showing young people in minority groups that they too can achieve greatness. As with all award shows, there were people who made us stop and just stare in awe and others that made us want to personally fire their stylists. All jokes aside, here is our list (in no particular order) of the best and worst dressed at the 2016 Grammy's:
Best:
1. Selena Gomez
Just an absolute sparkling goddess.
2. Ariana Grande
Although not entirely pictured here, there were small buttons running down the back of the dress and some on the front as well, that were an absolutely gorgeous detail.
3. Kaley Cuoco
Borderline casual, but Kaley made it work and ended up looking like a sparkling angel on the red carpet.
This pale blush with the stunning jewel detailing looked amazing on Ellie, and her very natural makeup and tousled hair really brought the look together.
5. Serayah McNeill
Serayah slayed the red carpet with this grey look featuring various slits and beautiful draping.
6. Chrissy Teigen and John Legend
Hot couple alert! Chrissy looked stunning in this white ensemble with one of the most incredible capes I have seen. And John looked so handsome in his all black suit with gold detailing.
7. Zendaya
Zendaya went against the status quo and looked totally badass while doing it in this all black suit look.
8. Sam Hunt
Sam took a risk with this pale pink suit but it absolutely paid off!
9. Bruno Mars & Lionel Richie
Bruno's wine colored vest and suit were such a good color on him and we love that he really isn't afraid to showcase his personal style. And Lionel's metallic blazer was a fun touch that he definitely knew how to pull off.
10. Zuri Hall
The plunging neckline and sparkly details really made Zuri a sight to see on the red carpet.
11. Liz Hernandez
Liz looked absolutely gorgeous in this satin form-fitting dress that hugged her body in all the right places and just had some overall amazing detailing. The top knot was also a fun look that most wouldn't wear on a red carpet, but she definitely worked it.
12. Bella Hadid
The cutouts, sparkles, and model stance just made Bella shine. Wow.
2. Janelle Monae
I tried to come up with a witty description for this but I really have no words.
3. Justin Bieber
4. Taylor Swift
Now we know this is going to seem controversial, but we simply didn't like it. We get what she was going for and the color combo was nice, but the skirt was just so flashy and the crop top -- all together it just didn't work.
On that note, goodnight. Literally. I have seen enough.
Worst:
1. Lady Gaga
I mean, it's Gaga, what can we honestly expect? I understand the David Bowie tribute but I'm not a fan of the look.
2. Janelle Monae
I tried to come up with a witty description for this but I really have no words.
3. Justin Bieber
"Hi, my name's Justin, can I take your order?"
4. Taylor Swift
Now we know this is going to seem controversial, but we simply didn't like it. We get what she was going for and the color combo was nice, but the skirt was just so flashy and the crop top -- all together it just didn't work.
5. Joy Villa
Do we even need to explain? I mean come on.
6. Johnny Depp
Johnny, this isn't the set of Pirates of the Caribbean. Did no one tell him?
7. Cam
Lemon merengue pie with whip cream on top, anyone? Yum.
8. Florence Welch
Is she going to tell me a bedtime story or?
9. Dencia
On that note, goodnight. Literally. I have seen enough.
